Post Details, Eligibility & Qualification

Age Limit:

(I) For the posts of Forester Grade I, Forest Guard & Driver: 18 to 40 years as on 01-01-2023 (i.e. Candidate must be born on or before 01.01.2005 and on or after 01.01.1983).

(II) For the posts of AFPF Constable & Driver Constable: 18 to 25 years as on 01-01-2023 (i.e. Candidate must be born on or before 01.01.2005 and on or after 01.01.1998).

Relaxations: Upper age limit will be relaxed for:
(i) 5 (five) years in respect of candidates belonging to SC, ST (P) and ST (H).
(ii) 3 (three) years in respect of candidates belonging to OBC/MOBC.

Eligibility Criteria For Assam Police Recruitment 2023

Educational Qualification
Forester Grade-I:  Bachelor in any discipline from a recognized University or equivalent.
Forest Guard: Higher Secondary (10+2) or equivalent examination passed from a recognized Board or Council. 
AFPF Constable:  HSLC or equivalent examination passed from a recognized Board.
Driver Constable: HSLC or equivalent examination passed from a recognized
Board or Council and must possess valid driving license for LMV or MMV or HMV.
Driver: HSLC or equivalent examination passed from a recognized Board or Council and must possess valid driving license for LMV or MMV or HMV.

Physical Standard for Assam Police Recruitment 2023

• When submitting an online application, candidates must upload the following documents to the Assam Police Online Application Portal:
• age verification document. For candidates who have passed the HSLC or a comparable examination, an “admit card” or “certificate of H.S.L.C. or equivalent examination” will be provided.
• For candidates who have passed the HSLC or an equivalent exam, a pass certificate is required.
• HSLC/Matriculation has not been taken, according to the birth certificate provided by the competent authority.
• For those who did not participate in the HSLC or Matriculation, a Class VIII Passed Certificate is required.
