JEE Main 2023 Session-2: National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the notification for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main Examination 2023 Session-2. Eligible candidates can apply online for the JEE Main 2023 from jeemain.nta.nic website.in starting from February 15, 2023. The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE (Main) comprises two papers. Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech.) is conducted for admission to Undergraduate Engineering Programs (B.E/B. Tech) at NITs, IIITs, other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs), Institutions/Universities funded/recognized by participating State Governments. It is also an eligibility test for JEE (Advanced), conducted for admission to IITs. Paper 2 is conducted for admission to B. Arch and B. Planning courses in the Country.
For Academic Session 2023-24, it has been decided that the JEE (Main) – 2023 will be conducted in two Sessions i.e. Session 1 (January 2023) and Session 2 (April 2023).

JEE Main 2023 Session-2 Application Fees
After ensuring the correctness of the details in the NTA JEE Main Session 2 April 2023 application form, candidates are required to pay the NTA JEE Main 2023 application fee through the payment gateway on the National Testing Agency (NTA) website integrated with the online application. Online fee payment through Net Banking or debit/credit card will be available up to 12 March 2023 at 23.50 hrs.

The NTA JEE Main Session 2 April 2023 fee payment can be made by using Debit card, Credit card and Net Banking etc by providing information as per the instructions on the your computer screen.
JEE Main 2023 Session-2 Age Limit
For appearing in the JEE (Main) – 2023, there is no age limit for the candidates. The candidates who have passed the class 12 or equivalent examination in 2021, 2022, or appearing in 2023 irrespective of their age can appear in JEE (Main) – 2023 examination. However, the candidates may be required to fulfill the age criteria of the Institute(s) to which they are desirous of taking admission.
Educational Qualification for JEE Main 2023 Session-2
For B.E/ B.Tech: Passed qualifying examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subjects.
For B.Arch: 12th Pass with Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry
For B.Planning: 12th Pass with Mathematics
JEE Main 2023 Session-2 Exam Pattern
JEE (Main) – 2023 will be conducted in 13 languages i.e. English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu. In the first session of JEE (Main) – 2023, only Session 1 will be visible and candidates can opt for that. In the next session, Session 2 will be visible, and the candidates can opt for that Session.
The application window for Session 2 will be re-opened as per the details available in the Information Bulletin and will also be notified separately through a Public Notice. For Papers, Schemes, Timing, eligibility, and other information, candidates are requested to please check the Information Bulletin of JEE (Main) – 2023 available on the website: jeemain.nta.nic.in
JEE Main Session 2 April 2023 Selection Process:
The selection process for JEE Main Session 2 April 2023 will be based on the candidate’s performance in the entrance exam. The selection process will consist of the following stages:
Application Process: The first step of the selection process is the application process. Candidates will have to register for the exam by providing their personal and academic details, choosing their exam centres, and paying the application fee. The application process is expected to start in February 2023.
Admit Card: Once the application process is complete, the NTA will release the admit card for the exam. The admit card will contain details such as the candidate’s name, roll number, photograph, signature, and exam centre details. Candidates must carry the admit card to the exam centre, failing which they will not be allowed to take the exam.
JEE Main Session 2 April 2023 Exam: The JEE Main Session 2 April 2023 exam will be conducted in online mode, and it will consist of two papers – Paper 1 for B.E/B.Tech courses and Paper 2 for B.Arch/ B.Planning courses. The exam will consist of objective-type questions, and the duration of the exam will be three hours. The exam will be conducted in multiple shifts, and the result will be declared in May 2023.
Result: The NTA will release the JEE Main Session 2 April 2023 result in May 2023. The result will contain the candidate’s score, rank, and qualifying status. Candidates who qualify for the exam will be eligible for counseling and admission to various engineering and architecture courses.
Counseling: Candidates who qualify for the JEE Main Session 2 April 2023 exam will be eligible for counseling. The counseling process will be conducted by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA), and it will be based on the candidate’s rank and preference of colleges and courses. Candidates will have to register for counseling and fill in their choices of colleges and courses. The seats will be allotted based on the candidate’s rank and the availability of seats in the preferred college and course.
The JEE Main Session 2 April 2023 selection process will be based on the candidate’s performance in the entrance exam. Candidates who qualify for the exam will be eligible for counseling and admission to various engineering and architecture courses. Candidates must prepare well for the exam and follow the guidelines provided by the NTA. They must also stay updated with the latest information and notifications released by the NTA.
