Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

• General/EWS: Master’s degree or equivalent with at least 55% marks.
• SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PwBD: Master’s degree or equivalent with at least 50% marks.
• Final-year students awaiting results are also eligible.

Age Limit (as of December 1, 2024):

• Junior Research Fellowship (JRF):
  • Maximum Age: 30 years
  • Age Relaxation:
    • SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/Transgender: 5 years
    • LLM Degree Holders: 3 years
• Assistant Professorship:
  • No upper age limit.

Exam Pattern

• Duration of Exam: 3 hours

Steps to Download the UGC NET Admit Card 2024

1. Visit the official website ugcnet.nta.ac.in or click on the direct link (when available).
2. Log in using your Application Number and Password/Date of Birth.
3. Check the Exam City Intimation Slip, available 10 days before the exam date.
4. The UGC NET Admit Card will be released 3 days before the exam date.
5. Download the admit card and print it for use during the examination.
